Pastefold is a clipboard manager for iOS. This policy describes what data the app handles and how.

What Pastefold stores

Everything you copy into Pastefold — text, links, images, and files — is stored locally on your device, inside an App Group container shared by the Pastefold app, its keyboard, its Home Screen widget, and its share extension. Pastefold does not operate any server, and nothing you copy is sent to us.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you turn on iCloud Sync (a Pastefold Pro feature) in Settings, your vault is synced through Apple's CloudKit service to your own private iCloud database. That data is encrypted and managed by Apple under your Apple Account; it is never sent to Pastefold's developer or to any third party. Turning iCloud Sync off stops new syncing; your existing local vault is unaffected.

Analytics and third parties

Pastefold does not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs, and it has no third-party dependencies. No usage data, clipboard content, or device identifiers are collected or transmitted by the app.

Subscriptions

Pastefold Pro purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Pastefold does not receive or store your payment information; Apple's own privacy policy governs that data.

Your data

Because your vault lives in your device's App Group container (and, if you enable it, your own private iCloud database), deleting the app removes your local data. Deleting an item in the app removes it locally and, when iCloud Sync is on, propagates that deletion to your other devices.
